Come enjoy an interactive evening of international dance and join us as we celebrate the revitalization of the *Alpina Lot. The event will showcase local dance groups performing various styles from around the world, including Filipino, Polynesian, African, Cuban, and Alaska Native dances. Come be culturally enriched as you not only watch the entertainment, but also learn a few basic steps from each group! Participation is optional and no previous dance experience is required. This interactive evening will truly be a night to remember.

Opening ceremony is at 6pm at the Alpina Lot (3607 Spenard Rd) and then walk over to Church of Love for dancing.

Made possible by Cook Inlet Housing Authority, Church of Love, and Artplace

*The "Alpina Lot" once housed a gas station that had extensive contamination from a leaking underground tank. With support from the State of Alaska, the Alaska Department of Environmental Contamination, and the Environmental Protection Agency, Cook Inlet Housing Authority cleaned up this brownfield site.
